Solid Hardwood Floating Shelves

Choose from our many hardwood options and create your own custom floating shelf kit! Every shelf is Kiln dried lumber and completely solid. All our shelves are sealed with Rubio Monocoat Oil and Wax which is well known for its beautiful finish, extremely durable wax coat and its well-known reputation as a premium finish for hardwood floors. All shelves are 2 inches thick. 

                                                      HOW TO ORDER

Select your desired length, depth, and wood species. If you need your shelf cut down to a custom length, please round to the nearest length option. Example- 61" shelf, select 60" option, 65" and above please select 72" option. Please note that all shelves are 2 inches thick. For unfinished shelves please type "Natural Finish" in the custom cut box when placing your order. if no custom cut is required, please type NA. Please note that some hardwoods are more prone to small knots and cracks. We always seal our knots and cracks with clear epoxy for an undetectable finish. 

                                                 MOUNTING BRACKET

The back of the shelf comes routered out and pre-drilled for a heavy-duty floating shelf bracket with 3/4" steel rod.  Bracket is included with every shelf purchase. Hardware for installation and mounting instructions are also provided. Bracket is rated for 50Ibs per stud. every 16 inches. 

                                             TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALL

You will need a level. pencil, power drill, drill bit, tape measurer, and a stud finder. 

                                                  INSTALLATION TIME 

15 minutes per shelf. Please refer to the included instructions. If you still need help with your installation, please refer to our install videos on our website. 

                             PRODUCTION TIMELINE & FREE SHIPPING TIMELINE

Our current production time for custom orders is 7-10 business days. All shipments are sent via UPS ground from Wrightstown, WI. Shipping speeds are anywhere from 4-7 days. Tracking details are provided along with shipment guarantee and insurance for your product in case of damage. 

                                                    DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the outside of the box, exterior damage marks, all damaged areas on the inside, and photos of the damaged product itself. Please then send all photos to our email @Simplymodernwoodworks.com and a brief message explaining your damaged item. We will then send you a replacement at no cost to you. *All damage reports must be submitted 30 days after the package delivery date*

                                                   RETURN POLICY

Due to the complex nature of custom orders, we cannot accept returns for all shelf sizes. We can only accept returns for standard 12"-24"-36"-48"-60'-72" length shelves. If you had us cut down your shelves, we cannot issue a return. For return shipments, we pay 50% of the return label cost. We then issue you a refund of the remaining funds. Our customer satisfaction is our absolute top priority! *ALL RETURNS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE*

                                               QUALITY GUARANTEE

Some shelves may have small knots or small cracks in them due to the nature of solid hardwood. We try our best to avoid these defects and we also fill all gaps, knots, and cracks with high-strength clear epoxy. It leaves a completely undetectable finish. We will never place any defects on the face of your shelf to ensure a high-quality finish. If for any reason you find a defect or damaged shelf please reach out to our support team.
