Distressed Hand-Hewn Fireplace Mantel, Solid Wood

Completely transform the look and feel of your fireplace with one of these beautiful solid fireplace mantels! Features of this stunning solid timber are hand hewn axe marks, small nail indentations, imitated worm holes, cracks, and a beautiful rustic raised grain look! Each mantel is handmade right here in WI, USA. We hand distress the beam for a beautiful, aged look! Includes a free metal French cleat bracket rated for 300Ibs!

Each beam is freshly milled White Pine and kiln-dried from our local sawmill right here in Neenah, WI, USA. We love to support our local community as much as we can! No need for debugging or worrying about shrinkage or rotted wood!  Every beam is fresh lumber sustainably sourced to protect our forests and lessen our footprint! Made in the USA. 

                                                     HOW TO ORDER

Select your desired length, height and depth and desired color. If you need your mantel cut down to a custom length, please round to the nearest length option. Example- 61" mantel, select 60" option, If 65" and above please select 72" option. If you desire an unfinished mantel please select "Natural" and type unfinished in the drop box below. For natural finish please type "Natural" in the drop box below.

                                                 MOUNTING BRACKET

The back of the mantel comes routered out for a heavy-duty French cleat bracket.  A free bracket is included with every mantel purchase. Hardware for installation and mounting instructions are also provided. The bracket is rated for 240Ibs or 80Ibs per stud. Please fasten to a minimum of 2 studs.

                                             TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALL

You will need a level. pencil, power drill, drill bit, tape measurer, and a stud finder. 

                                                  INSTALLATION TIME

                             PRODUCTION TIMELINE & FREE SHIPPING TIMELINE

Our current production time for custom orders is 7-10 business days. All shipments are sent via UPS ground from Wrightstown, WI. Shipping speeds are anywhere from 4-7 days. Tracking details are provided along with our shipment guarantee and insurance for your product in case of damage. 

                                                    DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the outside of the box, exterior damage marks, all damaged areas on the inside, and photos of the damaged product itself. Please then send all photos to our email @Simplymodernwoodworks.com and a brief message explaining your damaged item. We will then send you a replacement at no cost to you. *All damage reports must be submitted 30 days after the package delivery date*

                                                   RETURN POLICY

Due to the complex nature of custom orders, we cannot accept returns for all mantel sizes. We can only accept returns for standard 48"-60'-72" -84" long mantels. If you had us cut down your mantel, we cannot issue a return.

For return shipments, we pay 50% of the return label cost. We then issue you a refund of the remaining funds. To submit a return or if you believe there was an error with your order, please reach out to our support email @Simplymodernwoodworks.com so we can resolve your issue. Our customer satisfaction is our absolute top priority! *ALL RETURNS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE*
